POSITION:                          CMHC Coordinator – TERM
CLOSING DATE:                OPEN UNTIL FILLED

Under the direction of the Housing Director, the CMHC Coordinator is responsible for file management and record maintenance for all CMHC related documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Checking various incoming documents such as, correspondence, invoices etc., and make copies.
  • Sort various documents by CMHC unit in accordance with content, dates, significance etc.
  • Create and update records with new files and information.
  • Sort all documents in a secured designated places to ensure confidentiality.
  • Maintaining electronic system and performing data entry.
  • Scanning documents into electronic system.
  • Dealing with requests to access files and maintaining log of borrowed files.
  • Develop an efficient filing system and handle all file retrieval and maintenance.
  • Follow all policies and ensure the confidentiality and safeguarding of data and information.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, annual reports in accordance with the Housing Director.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or outlined in the job description.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of CMHC housing processes, procedure and reporting.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple and complex tasks.
  • Data entry management and/or word processing skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Able to adhere to deadlines and have the ability to handle sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and build effective relationships.
  • Sounds judgement, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Must have proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous culture, traditions and fluent in a First Nations language would be an asset.
  • Ability to function effectively as a team member.
  • Must be able to travel as requested.
  • Work flexible hours.

Conditions of Employment

  • Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
