Reference Article 11.3, “The Electoral Officer will establish at least one polling station on the reserve.”
To meet the needs of eligible electors’ right to vote in the general election for one
(1) Chief and four (4) Councillors of the Long Plain First Nation tribal government, we have included three on-reserve polling st at ions:

PLEASE NOTE: OUR ELECTION BY ELECTRONIC VOTING IS CURRENTLY UNDERWAY.
As a tribal citizen of Long Plain First Nation, you are entitled to vote, provided that you will be at least 18 years of age on April 12, 2018; and In reference to Article 7.4 although you may have received a mail-in voting package, you may still choose to vote in person at one of the polling stations in Long Plain First Nation.
If you choose to vote in person, you
- Must return your mail-in ballot to the Electoral Officer at the polling station, or
- Swear or affirm a written declaration that you have lost, misplaced, or have not used the mail-in ballot
