COVID-19|

The Provincial Restriction Level is still Code Red and the Long Plain Community has had no COVID 19 cases for several days and nobody in isolation.

Effective Tuesday, March 9, 2021, the check points are only going to be utilized during curfew hours from 12:00 AM till 6:00 AM daily.  All other entrances into the main community will be left open.  This is the 305 Entrance as well as the Yellowquill Trail West entrance.  All other roads are going to remain blocked.

The emergency call center is also being discontinued at this time.  If you have any security related calls, please call the First Nation Safety Officers (FNSO) in Long Plain at 204-595-8310 and for the Keeshkeemaquah Reserve, 204-870-0622.  The 2 phone lines are open 24 hours a day.

I want to remind everybody to keep vigilant and continue practicing the health protocols.  Maintain physical distancing, wash and/or sanitize your hands frequently, limit your contacts, limit your essential travel and monitor for COVID 19 Symptoms.

Thank you and stay safe.

Isaias Harper, Pandemic Coordinator
