Tribal Workshop Dates & Locations:

Reference Article 10.1 LPFN Tribal Constitution and Article 20.1 of the LPFN Tribal Governance Code, the LPFN Tribal Constitution and LPFN Tribal Governance Code” may be amended pursuant to the submission of any proposed amendment(s) by a Task Force appointed by the Tribal Government.”
Time is critical to the revisions of both documents, and the period to hold the Referendum vote is scheduled for late September. To support your involvement and participation, the Task Force has scheduled the following four (4) consultation workshops:

As a tribal citizen of Long Plain First Nation, we invite you to provide your feedback on proposed amendments to the following tribal documents:
- LPFN Tribal Constitution
- LPFN Tribal Governance Code
We have also undertaken the duties to include the drafting of bylaws in these areas: Animal Control, Funeral and Burial Coverage Policy, Drug Trafficking, and Curfew By-Law.
