The LONG PLAIN FIRST NATION is still under a Local State of Emergency in response to weather events, overland flooding and overall ground saturation we’ve experienced this Spring.
With the past 24 hrs rainfall some of the road and lanes have been deemed impassable by our engineers and as such have recommended evacuating our ALL WHO LIVE WITHIN THE AFFECTED AREAS.
A team has been mobilized has started evacuating those that qualify now.
